Purpose: This test measures skill in five areas of basic math with fractions: adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, converting fractions to decimals.

About This Test: This test will take most candidates approximately 15 minutes. It consists of 1 part:

  • An untimed Basic Math Skills III – Fractions Test

High Scorers: Candidates scoring high on the Math Skills III – Fractions should perform the quantitative aspects of their job more quickly with a minimum of mistakes.

Low Scorers: Candidates scoring low are likely to make a lot of mistakes in their work, thus causing problems with production and record keeping.

What the Report Gives You: The report provides an overall score for all 25 problems, as well as separate scores for the five topic areas: adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, conversion to decimals.

Testing Process:

  • Immediate score report upon completion.
  • Proctoring desirable but not required.
  • The use of mobile phones is discouraged.
