It is useful for people applying for retail positions that involve handling money. Where employees are working a cash register or writing up tickets for retail purchases or meals in a restaurant. The test is appropriate for screening out people with minimal math skills.
About the Test: This is an untimed test.
Candidates who score high on the Cashier Math Test will be quicker at figuring total bills, making change, and spotting problems with arithmetic. Those who score low will be slow in figuring customers’ bills and make a lot of mistakes.
Testing Process: Online aptitude testing provides immediate reporting, with results emailed to you instantly when the candidate is finished with the test. Proctoring is desirable but not required.
