Pre-Employment Test

Purpose: The Clerical Speed and Accuracy Test uses a classic approach to measuring a candidate’s ability to read first and last names quickly, compare each set to identify errors, and make simple decisions. The test can be used with good results where the position requires a lot of paperwork, and where both processing speed and minimizing errors are important.

About This Test: This is a timed 7-minute pre-employment test.

Target Group: We recommend using this test when selecting candidates for roles such as administrative assistant, administrative secretary, data entry clerk, file clerk, records clerk, medical office assistant, and more.

When to Use It: The Clerical Speed & Accuracy test will be a good predictor of potential on-the-job performance in roles that require quick thinking and accurate handling of detailed paperwork. It is a valuable tool to identify candidates who are strong in situations where both processing speed and minimizing errors are important.

What the Report Gives You: Aptitude scores and interpretation guidance.

High Scorers:Candidates scoring high on the test are quick to process information, and they do not make many errors.

Low Scorers:Candidates scoring low are somewhat slow in completing their work, and they tend to make more errors than expected.
