Pre-Employment Test

Purpose: This updated Excel Proficiency Test evaluates a candidate’s knowledge of Microsoft Excel and is useful when candidates have limited credentials in this software beyond job experience. When there is no history on the resume of certifications, achievements, or continuing education in Microsoft Excel of any kind, this test will give an honest interpretation of their level of ability.

About the Test: This untimed test assesses basic spreadsheet interpretation abilities as well as Excel calculation, graphing and function knowledge. The test will take most candidates 15 minutes to complete.

Target Group: We recommend using this test for general administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, clerical, data analysis, data entry or any position requiring regular use of Excel.

What the Report Gives You: A graphical display of the score reported in percent correct along with score interpretation guidelines.

Testing Process: Online personality testing can be done from any device with a reliable internet connection. The use of mobile phones is discouraged. Test results are provided immediately.
