Pre-Employment Test

Purpose: The Front Office Manager test measures behaviors and abilities associated with effective interpersonal interaction and multi-tasking in a cross-functional office administration role. These employees typically act as a central point of contact for a company’s customers and staff. They don’t have supervisory responsibilities but they play a key role. Their job tasks are varied to include communication, computer, and clerical duties, while managing projects and meeting deadlines.

About the Test: The test contains two untimed parts, and takes most candidates approximately 40 minutes to complete.

  • An untimed personality assessment
  • An untimed test of general cognitive aptitude (equally divided between verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning questions).

When to Use It: The Front Office Test should be used to hire employees who are friendly, organized, dependable, capable of working effectively in teams or on their own, and highly adaptable– that is, willing and capable to work on several tasks at once while maintaining a positive attitude. Other important attributes for this role are the ability to work in stressful or fast-paced environments and to deal with different, sometimes difficult, personalities with patience and a consistently professional manner.

Target Group: We recommend using this test to help select Office Managers, Front Office Coordinators, Executive and Administrative Assistants, or other Office Administrators who fill key roles but do not supervise employees.

What the Report Gives You: A graphical display of trait and aptitude scores, a list of strengths and developmental concerns, and suggested interview questions.

Testing Process: Online personality testing can be done from any device with a reliable internet connection. The use of mobile phones is possible but discouraged in favor of laptops or PCs. Test results are provided immediately.
