This combines our Managerial Style II Assessment with a Career Development report which can be used for coaching the employee or discussing their professional growth with them.

Pre-Employment Test



Purpose: This is a comprehensive pre-employment management test to find candidates with the mental acuity to learn quickly, handle a large information load, and make decisions based on complex information. In addition, this personality and aptitude test for managers, helps identify candidates’ management styles to determine if they have the leadership qualities necessary to direct and motivate employees, make decisions efficiently and in an ethical manner, focus on productivity indices, and work hard. It also functions as a leadership assessment and provides a career development component.

This product is ONE test that gives you TWO reports: (1) an evaluative report for the hiring manager and (2) a career development report suitable for the job candidate or new hire.

About This Test: This test will take most candidates approximately 60-75 minutes. It consists of 3 parts:

  • An untimed personality assessment
  • An untimed General Cognitive Aptitude Test (includes verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning)
  • An untimed set of open-ended statements to which the candidate has to type in a short answer

What the Report Gives You: A graphical display of personality trait scores, feedback regarding strengths and developmental concerns, an explanation of aptitude results, a display of narrative responses given to the open-ended statements, and suggested interview questions.

Testing Process:

  • Immediate score report upon completion.
  • Proctoring desirable but not required.
  • The use of mobile phones is discouraged.

What the Evaluative Report Gives You: A graphical display of scores and areas covered (see chart), explanation of aptitude results, list of strengths and developmental concerns, display of the narrative comments given to the open-ended statements, and suggested interview questions.

What the Career Development Report Gives You: For each personality dimension, the report provides a graphical display of the score, a narrative explanation of the score, along with narrative interpretation of strengths, weaknesses, best job fit, worst job fit, and suggestions for development.
