Purpose: This test measures a candidate’s familiarity with basic, intermediate and advanced terms and functions related to Microsoft’s word processing program. Test questions tap knowledge areas such as page layouts, formatting, editing, and file review functionality. The MS Word test should be used where employees need experience using the MS Office software to effectively do tasks related to document creation, editing and sharing with internal or external customers.
About This Test: This is an untimed MS Word Proficiency test that takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
High Scorers: People scoring high on the MS Word Test should be familiar with the terms and functions of the software program, and as a result, require less supervision or training for simple word processing tasks.
Low Scorers: People scoring low on the MS Word Test are likely to have a minimal understanding of the software and need more training and oversight, even for basic tasks and functionality.
