Purpose: The Service & Repair Manager Test helps you identify management-level candidates. The test evaluates managerial skills of a candidate and their ability to oversee operations. It finds people who excel at delegating, managing, and commanding the respect of employees by motivating them in a positive manner. It also shows the mental acuity and sharpness of a candidate for this role. It can be used in many markets, including but not limited to HVAC, Appliances, Home Security, Communications, and more.

As with many of Resource Associates’ personality tests, this test will look for patterns in the candidate’s answers that highlight their traits and personality style. It determines their strengths and weaknesses for what expected in the role of a typical Service & Repair Manager. There is also an aptitude component to this test so you can have a well-rounded picture of the candidate you are considering for hire!

About This Test: This test will take most candidates approximately 60-75 minutes. It consists of 3 parts:

  • An untimed personality assessment
  • An untimed General Cognitive Aptitude Test (includes verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning)
  • A 20-minute timed Mechanical Reasoning Test

What the Report Gives You: A graphical display of personality trait scores, feedback regarding strengths and developmental concerns, explanation of aptitude results and suggested interview questions.

Testing Process:

  • Immediate score report upon completion.
  • Proctoring desirable but not required.
  • The use of mobile phones is discouraged.
