Pre-Employment Test
Purpose: NOTE: This test contains measures of personality and general cognitive aptitude. It does NOT evaluate proficiency in HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript, ASP, Python, etc.
RA’s Web Developer Test is useful for screening potential employees who will be tasked with creating content for front end, back end, or full stack internal company and ecommerce website applications. These employees are typically responsible for the website’s development and/or design, implementation, maintenance and support. The best-fit candidates will be adept at interpersonal communication, customer-focused, adaptable, detail-minded, persistent and able to handle the problem-solving demands of the job in a capable manner.
About This Test: This test will take most candidates approximately 30 minutes. It consists of 2 parts:
- An untimed personality assessment
- An untimed General Cognitive Aptitude Test (includes verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning)
What the Report Gives You: A graphical display of personality trait scores, feedback regarding strengths and developmental concerns, explanation of aptitude results and suggested interview questions.
Testing Process:
- Immediate score report upon completion.
- Proctoring desirable but not required.
- The use of mobile phones is discouraged.
Options: RA’s Web Developer (personality only – $25) version allows for more flexibility for companies opting to conduct specific computer application knowledge/aptitude testing such as HTML/CSS, SQL, JavaScript, Python and ASP.net.
